Float1ngcity is built on circular economics. We source pre-owned clothing and textiles before they hit the export or waste stream, and give them a second life through curated resale.
We buy individual pieces as well as in bulk, - but nothing goes into our shop without review. Every lot is hand-sorted, meaning we pull out anything that doesn't fit our aesthetic or quality standard before it's ever listed.
We don't drop-ship. If it's in our shop, we've seen it, checked it, and stand behind it.
We also offer wholesale products that are new from the factory. These factories are vetted for operational stability and environmental impact, and are expected to meet the relavent SEDEX and ISO standards for that product category.
What this means in practice:
- Resale sourcing prioritizes overstock, liquidation, and secondhand channels over new production
- Bulk lots are hand-sorted - poor-quality or off-brand pieces are pulled before listing
- Every resale item is inspected and accurately described - no upselling condition
- Wholesale/new-made partners are vetted for SEDEX and ISO compliance before we work with them
- No drop-shipping
